Tucson Personal Training Bottom Line

Dynamic Bodies, the Tucson personal training team believe, if you take in more than you eat you get a bigger bottom line!

This is the first law of achieving a lean dynamic body. If you eat more calories than you burn, those leftover calories become a permanent part of your body.

Granted, some of us seem to be more efficient than others at burning fat, depending on such factors as age, sex, weight, genetics and physical activity levels.

But over the long term, when you take in more calories than you burn, your body will save them up for you (as fat!). It is sort of like your own personal energy conservation system.

Dynamic Bodies, the Tucson personal training team believe the solution is simpler than you think. Turn the equation in your favor: calories out need to exceed calories in, in order to lose weight. Now you can basically do this one of two ways: You can either consume less calories (reduce serving sizes), or you can increase calories out (the best way to do this is to exercise. Many people, in an effort to lose fat weight, do both at the same time.

I am a big proponent of keeping a diary of what you eat. This doesn't mean you have to do this for the rest of your life, just for a couple of weeks. Carry it with you everywhere you go and write it all down. Do it right after eating. Otherwise, you'll forget.

Dynamic Bodies, the Tucson personal training team, believe the hardest part of getting lean is just getting started. Every one of us is a collection of habits. Who we are and how we look are in many ways a production of our collection of habits. If for example, your particular collection of habits include frequent trips to the fridge for "snacks" during T.V. commercials, it is a pretty safe bet you are at least a little over weight.

The only way to redefine yourself (to start achieving leanness rather than merely worrying about being overweight) is to acquire a new set of habits. How do you do that? By doing things over and over again until they become habits.

Who you are is what you do; you become someone else by doing something else. If you are not already personal training with us register now for a complimentary consultation.
